Quick post to say I have just seen the cutest bundle of black fluff with a bright red beak, about the size of a golf ball. The moorhens eggs have hatched. Sorry no photo as they are too quick for me, but it makes me stupidly happy!

Spent a lovely morning walking on the beach at Priory Day and on the Coastal Footpath. Fabulous sunny day after all the storms, with great views.
Richard and I went for a quick walk this morning and came back with 6lbs of blackberries. Hands now stained nicely and crumble settling into the tummy. Looks like I’ll be making jam tomorrow! Yum yum.
